Know your Karaoke

Another thing that made the Pinoy inventors popular is the Karaoke.Pinoys are known to be good with music. No matter if you know or dont know how to sing, there is always a song that a Pinoy wants to hear and sing along with. That's how the Karaoke started and yes,it started in the Philippines.Taking out the Original artists voice from the track so that you can sing the song as if you are the one who originally sang it.It then evolved to a Videoke(coined from the words Video and Karaoke) where in you get to sing the song with lyrics that you can see in TV.

Let me show you how it looks like.

Its a TV and a box with built in Speakers and Keys for you to key in the code the corresponds to your song and ofcourse your Microphone.

The codes are in the pages of a book that is almost a library of all the popular songs in the world.

What are you waiting for?Let the Concert Begin!!!

Filipino Accent Tutorial by Mikey Bustos Blogged

I am back with a very interesting Vblog by Mikey Bustos.I first saw his video in our language training earlier today. The video is all about The Filipino Accent Tutorial,it is not about how to say English words correctly but it is about how most Filipinos pronounce english words.

What I like most is him being sensitive with the Filipino culture. He is one true Filipino in a foreign country. He is a real example of a Filipino who never forgets where he came from. He really created this video effectively .He was able to educate through fun and entertainment.

There are 337,969 hits when I watched the video . I hope that this blog will help his Vlog(which sounds the same in the Filipino accent) get more subscribers and get more Video hits.

Just click here to get directly to the Video about the Filipino Accent Tutorial

He is just not a Vlogger,he is a finalist in Canadian Idol as well and got the 7th place.

A real Filipino Pride

Proud to be Pinoy

Prayer is Power :remembering EDSA 1

Febryuray 25 is a very important day for the Filipinos who lives today for it is the date when prayer won over the forces of human interests. The Philippines where controlled by a governement that doesnt give any right for anyone to speak.Where the only right thing that you do is to stay inside the house and speak of none against the governement. These days are over. The Filipino masses, led by people of faith prayed together and used roses and rosaries as their weapon in defeating tanks, strong arms of soldiers and guns.

This is freedom.A freedom to express our feelings with no violence. This is EDSA Revolution.LABAN!!!

My Homeland

Things are lot different now. When I was in gradeschool,I really loved the subject Sibika at Kultura or later known as HEKASI(even if I dont know what Sibika and HEKASI means). What I really know about is that the subject is all about the Philippines. Here I am right now, writing my own articles about the countries rich culture.

I enjoy in reading the books and listening to my teachers talk about the country.I always flash back and imagine how it looked like before. It is like looking in the past that only the earth soil of the Philippines could testify what it went through.

What's great about the Philippines is its diverse history and mix cultures. We had a lot of visitors who contributed and impacted the history a lot, namely the Japanese,Spanish,Portuguese,American and even some British Colonies. Not to mention the natural and astonishing scenery that you will find in it.
